Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled WMS Systems Developer to join our technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support Dropp's nationwide fulfillment operations. The ideal candidate has strong technical expertise, experience in 3PL or supply chain environments, and the ability to deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency, accuracy, and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, configure, and optimize WMS functionality to support warehouse operations and client workflows.
  • Collaborate with operations, merchant success, and supply chain teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Integrate WMS with third-party systems, including OMS, ERP, and ecommerce platforms.
  • Troubleshoot system issues, implement bug fixes, and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Create technical documentation and training materials for internal users.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance system performance, security, and scalability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a WMS developer, engineer, or systems analyst, preferably in a 3PL or fulfillment environment.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, database management, and system integration (API, EDI, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics workflows.
  • Familiarity with RF scanning systems, automation tools, and cloud-based infrastructure preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical teams.
